I’m an artist and author of books for children and their families. I’m a father too, and I’ve learned that books at their best are not only beautiful objects, but experiences between people who love each other. It’s in the reading that the whole endeavour comes together. I hope my books become a reason for families to slow down, gather, and remember good things about themselves and the world.

I’ve made books with numerous major publishers, and my work has been nominated in the Australian Book Industry Awards, the Speech Pathology Australia Book of the Year Awards, and the Australian Book Design Awards. My first authored book, Shoosh!, was distributed by the Bounty Bags network to over 60,000 children born in Queensland through 2022.

My books coming out in 2026 include Going Home (Walker Books and Candlewick), The House That Walked Away (Hardie Grant), and Betsy & Bon (UQP).
